Privacy Policy

Effective June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Reforge Industries, Inc., a Delaware corporation (Reforge,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, the Reforge portal, and our reverse-engineering, 3D-printing, and related services (the “Services”). It works alongside our Services Agreement. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

1.Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you create an account, request a quote, or place an order, we collect:

  • Account details — your name, email address, and password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
  • Your designs and requests — 3D models, photographs, drawings, dimensions, materials, and other specifications you upload or describe. These often contain your intellectual property, and we treat them as confidential.
  • Order and fulfillment details — shipping/delivery address, order history, and quote acceptances.
  • Communications — messages you send us and your support requests.
  • Payment information — if and when you make a payment, it is collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

Information we collect automatically. When you use the Services we collect device and usage data such as browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies. For rate-limiting and abuse prevention we use a one-way hashed form of your IP address — we do not store your raw IP for that purpose.

How you found us. We record the website that referred you (for example a social network or a search engine) and, if you followed a campaign link or scanned one of our QR codes, which campaign it was. We store the referring site’s domain name only, never the full referring address.

Linking your visits. We give each browser a random identifier so we can tell a repeat visit from a new one and see where people leave our ordering flow. It holds no name, email, or address. If you never create an account, this usage history is deleted after 180 days. If you create an account, we connect that identifier to your account, so browsing you did before signing up becomes associated with you, and we keep your usage history for as long as your account exists to support your orders and our service to you. Deleting your account anonymizes that history, and it is then removed on our normal cleanup cycle.

Information from third parties. We may receive information from providers that help us operate, such as our authentication, anti-abuse, payment, and analytics partners.

2.How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Provide the Services — interpret your uploads, generate quotes, and produce and deliver your orders.
  • Operate accounts — authenticate you, maintain your order history, and provide support.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • Communicate with you about quotes, orders, account activity, and service updates.
  • Improve and develop the Services, including reliability, performance, and quality.
  • Comply with law and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the designs you upload to train general-purpose AI models.

3.AI Processing of Your Uploads

Some features use automated and artificial-intelligence tools to read your uploads, estimate geometry, suggest materials, and prepare quotes. To do this, the content you submit may be processed by third-party AI providers acting on our behalf. We share with them only what is needed to perform the task, under terms that restrict their use of your content to providing the service to us. These tools produce estimates and suggestions, not certifications — see the Services Agreement for how that affects your order.

4.How We Share Information

We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers — companies that host our infrastructure and database, deliver email, provide AI processing, prevent abuse, process payments, and provide analytics, each acting on our instructions.
  • Manufacturing partners — where an order is produced by a qualified manufacturer in our network, we share the specifications and details needed to make and ship your part.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Reforge, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent — for any other sharing you direct or approve.

5.Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the Services (for example, to keep you signed in and to secure forms) and a limited set for analytics to understand and improve usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working.

Our analytics cookies are our own. They are set by this site, are not readable by scripts running in the page, and are not used to build advertising profiles or shared with an advertising network. They hold a random identifier for your browser, a random identifier for your current visit, and a short note of how you reached us, such as the referring site’s domain or a campaign code. They expire after 180 days.

6.Data Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution needs. You may ask us to delete uploaded files after an order completes, subject to those obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7.Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation so one account cannot access another’s data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Tell us promptly at contact@reforge.industries if you believe your account or data has been compromised.

8.Your Choices and Rights

You can review and update your account information at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting contact@reforge.industries. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; we will still send you essential messages about your account and orders.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing — under laws like the GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws. We honor these rights as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

9.International Users

We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10.Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact contact@reforge.industries and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and, where appropriate, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
